Most catering pages make you call to find out the number. Here is the number. Three per-guest packages, pans and trays by the piece, and every fee, tax and deposit rule written down so you can budget the party before you talk to anyone.
Per guest, three ways
The Cookout is 16.99 a guest: choice of two meats from pulled pork, chipotle pulled chicken, honey-brined turkey and smoked ham, two sides, house made brioche sliders and sauces. The Tailgate is 23.99: three meats including twelve-hour brisket and baby back ribs, three sides, cornbread and rolls. The Big Feast is 32.99: every smokehouse meat, slow-smoked wings, three sides, cornbread and rolls, donuts for dessert. Packages start at ten guests.
The math for 20, 50 and 100
Twenty guests: Cookout 339.80, Tailgate 479.80, Big Feast 659.80. Fifty: 849.50, 1,199.50, 1,649.50. One hundred: 1,699.00, 2,399.00, 3,299.00. Those are food totals. Add 6.625% sales tax for a New Jersey event, nothing for Delaware. A 50% deposit holds a date more than seven days out; inside seven days the order is paid in full. Card payments add 2.9% of whatever is charged online; cash on the day carries none.
By the pan instead
Brisket is 159.99 for a half pan (4 lb, serves 12) and 319.99 for a full pan (8 lb, serves 24); pulled pork, chicken and ham 99.99 and 199.99; turkey 123.99 and 247.99; a half pan of ribs is four racks at 155.99. Sides run 39.99 to 67.99 for a half pan depending on the side, salad trays from 135.99, wing trays 39.99 for 25 and 74.99 for 50. No minimum on pans. Full service, the food truck and venue rental are quoted through the catering desk because staffing and hours change the number.

Booking basics
Lead times, deposit and delivery
- Lead timeSame-day for smaller orders (up to 24 guests or 400.00 in pans and trays, 4 hours' notice); a day's notice for anything bigger.
- Deposit50% holds the date. Final headcount and the balance are due 7 days before the event; inside 7 days it is paid in full online.
- DeliveryDelivery is available. The fee depends on distance; we add it to your order once we confirm it and charge it to the card on file. Delivery orders start at 100.00 of food; pickup can be any size. Pickup from either smokehouse is free.
- MinimumsPer-guest packages start at 10 guests. Pans and trays have no minimum.

How much does BBQ catering cost per person?
Three per-guest packages: The Cookout 16.99 (two meats, two sides, rolls, sauces), The Tailgate 23.99 (three meats including brisket and ribs, three sides, cornbread, rolls), The Big Feast 32.99 (every smokehouse meat, wings, three sides, cornbread, rolls, dessert). That is the whole food price; sales tax follows the event (6.625% in New Jersey, none in Delaware) and card payments carry a 2.9% card fee. Pans and trays are priced by the piece.
Are there service fees, delivery fees or gratuity?
No service fee and no gratuity added. Card payments carry a 2.9% card fee on whatever is charged online. Delivery and setup are priced per delivery, by distance and how much setup you want; we confirm the delivery price by phone before your event.
How much BBQ do I need for 20, 50 or 100 people?
With a per-guest package, exactly that many guests. With pans: a half pan is 4 lb of meat and serves 12, a full pan is 8 lb and serves 24. For 20 people, one full pan of meat (24) and two half pans of sides; for 50, two full pans and a half pan of meat and four or five pans of sides; for 100, double that. Mixed groups usually run two meats and three sides.
How do I hold a date, and what do I pay up front?
Book at 322bbq.com/catering/order. More than seven days out, a 50% deposit holds the date and the balance is due on the day, cash or card (card adds 2.9%). Inside seven days the order is paid in full online. No service fee.
