Privacy policy

• Contact details you give us: name, mobile number, email address, and for catering the event date, address and headcount.
• Orders and payments: what you ordered, when and where. Card payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.
• Rewards: the mobile number you order with and the points on it.
• Messages: emails and texts you send us, and the ones we send you about your order or event.
• Job applications: what you enter on the careers form.
• Site usage: pages visited, device and browser type and how you arrived, collected with cookies by Google Analytics and the Meta pixel.

• To take, prepare and hand over your order, and to plan, invoice and deliver catering.
• To contact you about your order, event, invoice, rewards or application, by email, phone or text.
• To answer your questions and fix problems.
• To send offers, only if you opted in to them. You can stop at any time.
• To keep the site working, prevent fraud and understand which pages help guests.

When you give us your mobile number on an order, catering request, invoice, rewards sign-up, job application or contact form, or ask us by phone or in person to text you, you agree that 322 BBQ (and Hill Donut Co. for its catering and orders) may text that number about what you asked for. That consent is shown next to each phone field.

What we text: order confirmations and pickup or delivery updates; catering request replies, quotes, menus and confirmations; invoices, payment links and receipts; event-day and reminder messages; rewards sign-in codes; job application updates; and replies from our staff when you text us.

Two-way: you can text us back. Replies reach our catering desk or the restaurant, and a person answers in the same thread.

322 BBQ texts through one registered messaging program shared with its affiliated restaurants under common ownership, Red Barn Burgers and Hill Donut Co. Each text names the restaurant it comes from, and each brand texts from its own number.

Marketing texts (offers, specials, review requests) are sent only if you separately opt in, for example with the unchecked “text me offers” box at checkout. Agreeing to marketing texts is never a condition of buying anything.

How often: message frequency varies with your orders and events. Most guests get a few texts per order or event.

Cost: Message and data rates may apply, according to your mobile plan.

Opting out: Reply STOP to any text to opt out; we confirm once and send nothing further. Reply START to opt back in. Reply HELP for help, or call (302) 308-3162 or email catering@322bbq.com.

We do not share or sell mobile numbers or SMS opt-in data with third parties for their marketing purposes. Mobile information is shared only with the providers that deliver our texts and run our systems for us (below), and they may not use it for anything else.

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:

• With service providers who work for us: website and database hosting, payment processing (Stripe), email and text delivery, reservations, site analytics, and tools that help staff draft replies. They may use your information only to provide their service to us.
• With our sister brand Hill Donut Co. where an order or catering event involves both, and for shared rewards.
• When the law requires it, or to protect our guests, staff or business.

Order receipts and catering emails are part of your order. Offer emails go only to guests who opted in, and every one has an unsubscribe link.

We keep order, catering and payment records as long as we need them to run the business and meet tax and accounting rules. You can ask us to delete your contact details at any time (below); some records may have to be kept by law.

• Texts: reply STOP. Emails: use the unsubscribe link.
• Cookies: block or clear them in your browser; the site still works for ordering.
• To see, correct or delete what we hold about you, email us. We answer within 30 days.

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

If we change this policy we update the date at the top. Big changes are announced on this page.
