The bar
Craft cocktails, house cocktails, mocktails, draft and bottled beer, wine, and espresso. Beer and wine can go home with your takeout order too. Wilmington Brew Works North is next door on Marsh Road when you want to keep going.
Built for a date, a group, a Friday
Reservations mean the table is there when you arrive. Private party rooms mean the birthday or the office night has a door. Live music means it is a night out, not a pickup window. Mullica Hill, twenty minutes east, is the family BYOB room; Wilmington is the one with the bar.
And the food is still the point
Post-oak goes on at midnight. Twelve hours later the brisket comes off dry-rubbed, bark on, shaved or chopped to order. That is the whole method: oak, time, salt, pepper, no shortcuts. Platters come with two smokehouse sides, a house salad and garlic brioche. The D&S burger took first place at the Philly Burger Brawl.
