Backyards · block parties · pool parties · no headcount needed

Your yard.
Our pit.

The point of a backyard party is that you are in the backyard, not at the grill. We bring the pans hot, you put out the cooler. For a crowd that "might stop by", pans and combos scale without a headcount; for a set guest list, The Cookout is the easy per-guest answer.

01

Questions

How much BBQ for a backyard party of 30?

Two full pans of meat (16 lb) and three half pans of sides feed 30 with seconds. Or The Cookout for 30 at 509.70. Add a 50-count wing tray for the early crowd.

How much BBQ do I need for 20, 50 or 100 people?

With a per-guest package, exactly that many guests. With pans: a half pan is 4 lb of meat and feeds 8 to 10, a full pan is 8 lb and feeds 16 to 20. For 20 people, one full pan of meat and two half pans of sides; for 50, three full pans of meat and four or five of sides; for 100, double that. Mixed groups usually run two meats and three sides.

Do you deliver and set up, or can I pick it up?

Both. Drop-off and setup are included inside the free radius around each smokehouse; beyond that we quote the trip when we call to confirm. Pickup from either kitchen is always free: 1845 Marsh Road, Wilmington, DE or 1 S. Main Street, Mullica Hill, NJ.

Is there a minimum?

Per-guest packages start at ten guests. Pans, trays, combos and party trays have no minimum. Smaller orders can book same day; larger ones need a day's notice; June and December weekends book early.
